There are now less than two months before the arrival on the market of PS5 and it is only a matter of time before Sony decides to reveal to the public the arrival of the much talked about PlayStation VR 2, the next generation virtual reality headset. To reveal the possible aspect of his motion controller is an online patent.
The patent in question dates back to last March 2020 and was found by the portal LetsGoDigital. As you can see from the image at the bottom of the news, the appearance of the controller pair in some ways resembles that of Oculus Quest 2, with a curved handle on which, however, light sources are positioned which, in all probability, will be used by the new one PlayStation 5 camera to accurately identify the position of the controllers and detect their movements. Unfortunately we do not know more specific information on these devices and it is not possible to know details on the keys or on the possible presence of a finger sensor, similar to what we saw on competitor controllers.
In any case, there is still a bit to wait, since it is difficult for Sony to decide to reveal the new hardware dedicated to virtual reality to the public before the launch of the PlayStation 5.
