One of the train’s two carriages derailed after the cow collision.

Lane NOR enlightened late Sunday evening that the Østfold railway is closed between Råde and Fredrikstad due to the collision.
– It is a passenger train that has run over a cow, Harry Korslund, press officer at Bane NOR, tells VG.
No injuries have been reported.
– The leading carriage has gone off the track. The rear carriage takes the passengers back to Råde.
Korslund says that work is being done to put in place an alternative itinerary for those affected.
– It is unknown when the stretch can be opened to normal traffic again.
