A woman died in a severe accident on the road between the villages of Dragomir and Topoli Dol, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pazardzhik announced.
The signal for the incident was submitted yesterday in the on-duty part of RU-Pazardzhik. Traffic police patrols, an ambulance of the fire brigade and an ambulance of “Ambulance” were immediately directed to the place.
According to initial information, the 70-year-old driver of a Renault car, moving from the village of Dragomir in the direction of the village of Topoli Dol, lost control and the car hit the back of an Opel stopped in front of him. The car turned and a side impact followed in the oncoming tractor. The driver of the “Opel” was a 70-year-old man from Plovdiv, and the driver of the tractor was a 25-year-old man from the village of Chernogorovo.
The 65-year-old wife of the driver of the Renault car died on the spot as a result of the collision. Her husband was transported and placed under supervision in the Pazardzhik Hospital without danger to life. Participants were sampled for alcohol use.
