Repair works on a part of Hasan Majidov Street in Baku’s Yasamal district (the part from Huseyn Javid Avenue to Zeynal Khalilov Street) have been completed. SIA was informed about this by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Highways (AAYDA).
According to the information, as part of the repair works of the said section, which is 330 meters long and 12-15 meters wide on average, 360 p/m of new paving stones were laid along the street, old paving stones were restored, milling of the old asphalt-concrete coating and laying of a new asphalt-concrete coating in the area work has been done.
In parallel with these works, new rain grates were installed along the street, the inspection covers of communication lines were replaced with new ones.
At the last stage, the street was provided with the necessary road signs and horizontal marking lines, and was made available to citizens in a modern appearance.
Construction of pedestrian lanes and directional arrows on the street will be carried out in the coming days.
