A paraglider falls during take-off and is seriously injured in Draguignan

Unfortunate incident, this Thursday afternoon in Draguignan. At around 4pm, a 51-year-old paraglider had a serious crash while trying to take off from Chemin du Pas du Loup.

The alarm was raised by a civilian doctor present at the scene.

An ambulance, another off-road vehicle, a medical vehicle, a second aid in dangerous and mountainous environments, as well as a command vehicle were dispatched to care for the seriously injured victim.

In addition to the thirteen firefighters, the Civil Security helicopter 06 was deployed.
