This Sunday, July 28, the French Wingsuit Championship took place, which serves as a selection for the World Championships next October. Among the medalists, Sylvain Bevand, licensed with the EPS du Bassin d’Arcachon, who won the silver medal in the team acrobatic event.
What is the French Wingsuit Championship?
The French Wingsuit Championship includes two events:
- Acrobatics: team discipline with two performers and a videographer
- Performance: Individual Discipline
Each of them is divided into two levels: National 1 and National 2.
To represent France at the next world championships, the rule is simple: the first three competitors in performance and the best team in hook will see their performances submitted for evaluation for selection.
