In the southern Donetsk direction, the Russian armed forces repelled an attack by Ukrainian drones and destroyed a sabotage-reconnaissance group (DRG) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, foreign agencies report.
“The enemy’s attempt to conduct reconnaissance of the forward positions of the Vostok group in the southern Donetsk direction was thwarted. A reconnaissance group of nationalists was destroyed by a sniper pair of part of the special forces,” said Alexander Gordeev, head of the press. center of the Vostok Group.
The unit’s forces also shot down the “Fury” and “Valkyrie” drones.
In addition, the DNR announced the successful operation of the air defense (air defense) – a missile of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, launched in the direction of Volnovakha, was shot down.
