A Nutrition Consultant Unveils a Surprise About the Effects of Boiling Ginger… and Determines the Right Daily Amount • Al Marsad Journal

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Nutritional consultant Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Othman said that boiling ginger in water loses its health benefits, explaining that the best way to eat it is to grate it and add it to salads and cold foods, because it contains antioxidants and volatile substances that are lost with high temperatures.

He added, during a talk with the news channel, that ginger is a medicinal substance and exceeding more than one tablespoon can expose a person to digestive problems.

Al-Othman explained that the allowed daily amount is 1 gram for dried ginger and 4-5 grams for fresh ginger.
