A number of new features WhatsApp will launch in 2022

KEMPALAN: WhatsApp always innovates by releasing new features every year. In addition, they are also actively testing new features that will be available to some WhatsApp Beta users.

Some time ago, WhatsApp was reported to be testing 2 new features that will be coming to its users. The new feature is to allow group admins to delete messages sent by other group members and the message reaction feature.

The first feature allows admins to delete messages sent by other users in a group that are detected as hoax messages. This new feature is also WhatsApp’s commitment to eliminating the spread of hoaxes on its platform.

The second feature, namely message reactions, can make users react to messages sent by other users, similar to the features in Instagram direct messages. Reactions to messages sent are in the form of good emojis, smiles, laughter, and sadness. This feature will appear below the messages sent.

In addition, there are rumors that by 2022 WhatsApp will launch at least five new features. Launching from HiTekno, here are five potential new features.

1. WhatsApp Logout

This feature is said to be released soon. This feature will allow you to remove your account and will replace the Delete Account menu.

2. Multi-device support

This feature allows you to connect one account to multiple devices at once. In addition, you will stay connected even if the device you are connecting is not connected to the internet.

3. WhatsApp Reels?

This feature is the same as the one on Instagram, namely Instagram Reels. Even so, the news about this feature is still unclear.

4. Update the delete message feature

This update allows you to delete messages whenever you want, without any time limit.

5. Last activity

You can hide your recent activity more specifically. Previously there were only three options that you could choose, namely everyone, nobody and my contacts. Later there is a fourth option ‘My Contacts Except’. (HiTekno, Ihsan Arief)
