A nightmare. Here is the price per liter of gasoline in Greece

Soon the price of a liter of gasoline in Greece will reach 3 euros, which will blow up the market, warn the owners of gas stations.

“There is a mafia operating in the fuel market that launders money through petrol stations,” Maria Zanga, president of the Attica Union of Petrol Station Owners, told Sky TV.

She added that everyone in the sector knows the people involved in this criminal scheme, but fears for their lives because there have already been several warnings against people willing to testify.

Zanga said that it is impossible for a liter of wholesale petrol to cost 2.21 euros today, and for some petrol stations to sell below that price, bgonair.bg reports.

Journalists in the studio called on prosecutors to launch an investigation.

Today, the average price per liter of unleaded gasoline is 2.40 euros, and on the islands it is at least 20 cents more expensive, according to the Ministry of Development, quoted by BNR.

In a few days or a week we will reach a price of 3 euros per liter, employees of gas stations predict.

The opposition again called for an immediate ceiling on fuel prices. Gasoline aid for Greeks is until the end of June.
