A night of reading at the end of the Michel Foucault exhibition

At the end of the exhibition Michel Foucault, says and writes, the Poitiers media library devotes its night of reading to the work of the philosopher, Saturday January 22, from 6.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The program includes the discovery of works from the art library related to Foucauldian themes, several readings throughout the evening, but also a meeting with the historian Anne Simonin and the jurist Pierre Lascoumes around the text La Vie des hommes infmes and notions of blame and indignities, and a live painting by Poitevin street artist, Marc Modza. On this occasion, the reading room will be officially renamed Salon Michel-Foucault and new signage will be affixed. Finally, a sale of books will be provided by the bookseller Gibert-Joseph from Poitiers.

Triangle-d’Or: last days to vote

There are only a few days left to vote for the scenario for the development of the Triangle-d’Or park, in the Trois-Cits district. Two scenarios were identified based on the other orientations expected by the inhabitants who took part in the consultation. To vote, two solutions are possible. Online on the I participate platform or face-to-face in various places: socio-cultural centers of Trois-Cits, 1, place de France and 1, place Lon-Jouhaux; media library and district town hall, 10, place des Trois-Cits. The result of the vote will be presented to the inhabitants on Wednesday 26 January during a public meeting followed by a co-construction workshop on the future development of the park.
