The announced transfer of Jules Koundé from Seville to Barcelona promises to bring in a tidy sum for the Girondins.

Sold in 2019 to the Andalusian club against 25 million euros, the tricolor international defender was also to bring the Bordelais 20% of the capital gain resulting from a possible resale by Sevilla FC.

The interested party being today the subject of an agreement at 50 million euros to join Barça, it is therefore no less than 5 million euros which will soon fall into the hands of the club in the scapular.

However, the FCGB will not directly benefit from it. This sum is promised to the King Street and Fortress investment funds, which to save the Gerard Lopez club have agreed to waive 40 million euros in debt.
