The CHR Metz-Thionville began on Monday the move of its maternity unit to its new Woman-Mother-Child hospital built behind the Bel-Air hospital, for a little over 40 million euros. This move into brand new premises will last all week and will concern in particular, this Tuesday, the operating room, Wednesday, gynecology, and, Thursday, pediatrics (more than thirty patients in total). This new maternity unit was designed in a Zen spirit, so that patients forget that they are in the hospital. Hotel comfort is the watchword of this facility, which expects 2,500 births each year.
