Blood donors perpetuate a commitment to the good cause of several decades in Lespignan which must continue, because the needs have not diminished over time, quite the contrary.
The association, which also includes Nissan volunteers, can boast of more than 40 years of presence in the region.
Blood collection afternoons are organized jointly in the two villages, spread over the calendar year. Each time, between 50 and 70 donors show up to supply the reserves and meet the needs of patients. Even if the period is complicated with the health crisis; we must continue and maintain the activity.
The structure is affiliated with the French Federation for Voluntary Blood Donation, it brings together nearly 3,000 associations that campaign for blood, bone marrow and organ donation in order to meet needs.
On Lespignan, several donors are always faithful to appointments for an important gesture that only lasts about ten minutes in all.
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 3 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room.
