a new type of cardiology consultation center

A new cardiology consultation center is due to open in Saint-André-les-Vergers, in October 2022, with one objective: to alleviate the significant shortage which will worsen by the end of the year, due to the retirement of six liberal cardiologists out of twelve.

L‘Aube is particularly affected by medical and paramedical understaffing. Among the specialists whose department is sorely lacking are psychiatrists, ophthalmologists, and cardiologists.

Currently, they are eighteen, including twelve liberals, to exercise on the Aube territory. By the end of the year, half of the Liberals will be retired.
