A developer has created a new tool that will allow Apple users to change their iPhone’s system font to iOS 16 without having to jailbreak their phones. According to MacRumors, over the years Apple has increased the level of customization to which users iPhone users can log in, but one thing they can’t change is the system-wide character of the iPhone.
According to the report, developer Zhuowei Zhang created a system-level font change tool for iPhone by exploiting a security vulnerability in earlier versions of iOS 16, and to use the tool and change the system-level font of the iPhone, you need to be running iOS 16.1.2 or earlier because Zhang used a patched security vulnerability in iOS 16.2, according to the report.
Also, to check what version your iPhone is running, go to Settings > General > About, then see what’s listed as the iOS version.
And late last week, Apple stopped signing iOS 16.1.2, which means that if users are running iOS 16.2, they can’t downgrade, the report said, adding that the tool is available on GitHub as an IPA file and allows users to choose from different fonts, such as Comic Sans MS, Fira Sans, and DejaVu Sans Mono.
