A new technology could reduce the charging times of electric cars: the policy

Von

Gerhard Matzig

The Ministry of Transport – often sounds like a wrongMinistry – wants to put one million charging points into operation by 2030. With it, 15 million electric cars will be supplied. This is currently as realistic as the traffic light coalition’s goal of building 400,000 apartments a year. Or like TSV Waldtrudering’s goal, winning the Champions League in the near future. According to the Federal Network Agency, as many as 57,000 regular charging points and 11,000 fast charging points are currently reported.
