Autopsies of patients who died from the Corona virus revealed a “shocking surprise” for doctors, but this could help them know how the virus affected the organs of the human body.

The CNN news network quoted a blood clotting expert as saying that doctors discovered blood clots among the dead people with Corona virus in almost all parts of the body, according to the Sky News website.

“Some Covid-19 patients have blood clotting,” said Amy Rabkevich, head of the pathology department at the Langon Medical Center at New York University in the United States, but described what they found after autopsy was “dramatic.”

She added that “in the early stages of the spread of the epidemic, doctors observed many cases of blood clotting in different large blood vessels, but what we saw was not normal, as the clotting was not only in the large vessels, but also in the small.”

“It was exciting. Although we were expecting clots in the lungs, we also found them in almost every organ during the autopsy.”

The autopsy results, published by the Lancer in late June, showed “something unusual in large pure cells or large bone marrow cells.”

Rabkevich said that experts have found clots in the heart, kidneys, liver and other organs.

But scientists have not found anything that they expected to happen in the dead from the Corona virus, which is the presence of inflammations in the heart muscle. Rabkevich said the autopsy revealed that the cases of myocarditis were “very low.”
