Punk rock group “Inokentijs Mārpls” has submitted a new song “Manipule” to the audience, announcing the sixth studio album coming this autumn.
The song “Manipule” could frighten even the most faithful “marmot” worshipers with heartbeats, because in it you can hear more reggae moods than the band’s usual “underground” sound – with the lyrics everything is in the best (and “pancake”) order. As the author of the song Dambis or Raimonds Lagimovs explains, “Manipule” does not really reflect the mood of the new album and is the most different of the other songs: “The first versions of the song appeared already in 2005, when the song was played in different ways. Something seemed to be missing, and after June 2017, a body text was written. True, the original message was more ambiguous, now it has trivialized to a relationship model, although human manipulation also takes place in much broader ways – at school, in the country, at work and elsewhere. ”
Dambis himself (guitar, voice), Skrips (bass), Ēriks Lizbovskis (drums), Kaspars Bindemanis (keys), Nils Īle (percussion), Santa Miščenkova (songs) have participated in the recording of the song “Manipule”. Recorded “Hodila Rec.” Led by Ģirts Laumanis or Lomiks, the keys were recorded by Bindemanns, the percussion by Uģis Vītiņš, and the songs by Mārtiņš Burkevics. Mastered by Ģirts Laumanis.
