A new solidarity convoy will leave Montluçon on Sunday to come to the aid of Ukraine. Several minibuses, filled with mainly medical donations, will in fact leave for Poland and the town of Medyka which hosts a large number of refugees.

In the direction of return, this convoy should bring back displaced people, who will then be taken care of with host families in the Montluçon area. At the initiative, there is the Association aux Couleurs de l’arc en ciel, based in Saint-Victor.

Julie Lopes is the creator of the association. She had already left for the first time in April, which made her want to continue helping, but in a more organized way.

Minibuses, volunteers and drivers are still needed. Donations are also collected, you can contact the association on 06 34 70 25 28 or on the association’s Facebook to be found here.
