The platform has a “feed” of publications, which will be presented to users through an algorithm that will take into account the interests of each one. The launch was announced by Mike Krieger on the Instagram page.
“Excited to announce that Kevin [Systrom] and I have been working with a talented team for the last year – Artifact, a personalized publication feed powered by the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence. We are gradually letting people in as we scale.”said.
It should be remembered that Systrom and Krieger launched Instagram in 2010 and sold the app to Facebook for a billion dollars (918 million euros) in 2012. The pair of founders ended up leaving in 2018, with rumors of tensions with CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
