Al-Ahly club received a new shock before the African clash in the CAF Champions League final match against Zamalek, on the twenty-seventh of this month, at the Cairo International Stadium.
Mahmoud Waheed, defender of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, was injured during the team’s training session on Friday, and he was unable to complete training as a result of this injury.
Waheed underwent a medical examination in order to diagnose his condition, under the supervision of Lieutenant-General Khaled Mahmoud.
Walid Suleiman was also injured during the training session with a slight contusion to the hand, which did not prevent him from completing the training, after he underwent a quick examination.
It is worth noting that Walid Suleiman was injured during the past days, but he returned yesterday, Thursday, to participate in training normally.
The training session witnessed a special paragraph for the defenders in order to train them on some sentences to deal with attacks properly, through the presence of a large number of midfielders and attackers, amid the keenness of South African coach Pitso Mosmiani, the team’s coach, to create a dialogue language continuously with his auxiliary apparatus and the players, and asked them to implement his instructions.
