An ecological path

Recognized as an ecological trail, the -Parc des -Chutes de -Sainte-Ursule offers many hiking trails from 2 to 5 km depending on the intermediate level sections. Visitors can follow the course of the Maskinongé River or simply discover the splendours of the forest: wetland, forest of various conifers where there are several species of mushrooms, mixed forest and different species of birds to observe. The -Parc des -Chutes includes seven falls that can be observed in the spring. Four falls are still visible including one enclosed in a gorge, as well as its waterfalls. In the spring, the melting snow creates the formation of three additional falls. Several stairs, boardwalks, a small beach and picnic tables are found in the -Park. A 20 m high observation tower allows you to admire the power of the falls. The total drop in height of the falls reaches 237 feet (71.81 meters), therefore greater than that of the Niagara-falls!

The -Municipality of -Sainte-Ursule invites all of -Mauricie to come and discover or rediscover one of the most beautiful places in -Quebec.
