A new scandal broke out in the parliament. Yavor Bozhankov ignited passions. He suddenly went to the rostrum to ask a strange question to the Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Raya Nazaryan.

He admitted that he did not know the procedure for accrediting journalists, but stated: “I am puzzled because a person who is not a journalist regularly comes to the building of the National Assembly. Maybe he’s a YouTuber, maybe he’s something else, but he’s known for being hostile to the PP-DB group. It is about the person Simon Milkov”.

“Recently arrested, multiple convictions with valid drink driving convictions, from crashes, to assaulting young people, multiple convictions for defamation and lying.”

“How did your administration, Madam Speaker, judge and admit this person here and the criteria of who he is hostile to and who he is persecuting. Because I have no other explanation for what this person is looking for in committees, he gives opinions, people’s representatives listen to him. Is this even normal?” he asked.

Milkov was invited to the commission investigating the “Historical Park” of Ivelin Mihailov.

The word was taken by Tsveta Rangelova from “Vazrazhdane” – chairman of the temporary commission “Historical Park”, who very quickly put Bozhankov in his place. She asked Raya Nazaryan to convey to Bozhankov that with regard to the temporary commission that heard Milkov, he was heard at the express request of the People’s Representatives from PP-DB Vyara Todeva and Lyuben Ivanov.

“When you throw some information bombs here with the aim of discrediting someone, first do your regular operatives in your parliamentary group, exchange some information. Not here to waste our time every day with this edifying, commanding tone,” declared Rangelova, and her words were met with applause in the hall.

Bozhankov, it seems, did not accept the criticism. “What was this procedure where a member of parliament addresses another member of parliament through a proxy speaker of the parliament?” he asked and his microphone was immediately cut off by speaker of the parliament Nazarian.

“When you learn to speak respectfully from this podium, then I will give you the floor. You have no right to come out here in the middle of a bill on a second vote and start campaigning,” she scolded him.

Rositsa Kirova also joined the argument and turned to Bozhankov with the sharp remark: “Sit down!”

Passions in Parliament suddenly ran hot and there was a lot of noise. From their seats, the deputies exchanged remarks in a loud voice.

“Mr. Sabrutev, don’t scare me with resignations. We are currently holding a debate on a second vote,” Nazaryan addressed PP-DB MP Venko Sabrutev, who apparently made remarks to her.

Many of the people’s representatives from the place made a remark to Bozhankov and Sabrutev. After taming the passions, the voting continued.
