A new Russian drone is fighting electronic warfare using fiber optic cables

The Ukrainian army has achieved several successes in the past two and a half years. In the last few weeks he has even attacked the Russian region of Kursk. The drone was developed by the Ushkuynik science and production center in the Russian city of Novgorod. By using fiber optic cables, the aircraft can be accurately controlled, even in areas where radio communication is interrupted. This is similar to the technique used in wire-guided missiles. The drone was first reported on the Siberian Army Telegram military channel.

Finally, the operator must be relatively close to the target, which is a little more dangerous than controlling drones from the comfort of his home.
