It is in Dijon that Ciblex is now inaugurating a new platform of more than 3 200 m2, as part of its site modernization and transformation plan. More than a transformation, this time it is a new site strategically better placedto the south (10 km) of the city, which will make it possible to better serve six departments: Allier, Côte d’Or, Nièvre, Jura, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne.
Environ 92 delivery rounds and 23 pickup tours, with the delivery of 7 300 packages per day, 3 350 parcel nights and 6 000 parcels collected, 11 000 parcels are in transit every day. With Relais Colis, Ciblex belongs to the Walden Express International division, which wishes to optimize deliveries and support the growth of its volumes.
Of 1 100 at 4 000 packages per hour
The new platform, on a double surface, with 2 856 m2 warehouse and 358 m2 of offices, can manage up to 4 000 parcels per hour, against 1 100 before, or tripled capacity on incoming and outgoing flows.
This is thanks to the latest generation equipment, i.e. a telescopic conveyor optimizing the loading of vehicles, 41 outlets and a weighing and volumetric measuring system. Thanks also to 15 truck docksleveling bridges and 19 light vehicle doors, allowing Ciblex to increase the rate of loading and unloading.
