Xiaomi has announced a new product that surprised people.
On the 29th, Xiaomi unveiled its new technology through official SNS such as YouTube and Twitter. The technology that Xiaomi has unveiled is’Me Air Charge’, which is part of the smartphone wireless charging technology.
Unlike wireless charging, which generally requires a stand, Xiaomi Mi Air Charge is a remote charging method that starts charging only when you go near the device installed in the center. Xiaomi was confident that it was “a huge leap forward in wireless charging technology.”
The charging box developed by Xiaomi has five phase interference antennas built into it. After accurately determining the location of the smartphone with this antenna, a phase control assembly consisting of 144 antennas shoots a beam and transmits the wavelength to the phone. This signal is converted into electrical energy and charging occurs.
Xiaomi said that this technology can charge not only smartphones, but also speakers and smart watches. The release date of the product with the technology has not yet been disclosed.
