While many young actors are almost competing to come up with a smarter (and more Western) stage name, singer Ance Sirsone has announced that she has a Latvian pseudonym and a “flower” of her own – Dahlia Aster.
The first officially released song of the young Latvian musician Ances Sirsone or Dālijas Asteres – “Burbulī” – has reached the audience. The author is Ance himself, represented in the recording studio by Jānis Narbuts, and the publishers of the song are “Izdevniecība MicRec”. In short: a pop song with a rhythmic beat with a surprisingly good performance and a memorable chorus – “flower girl” made a promising start!
The young musician has graduated from the Madeliena music school, where she learned to play the piano and sing in a choir. Ance has been writing songs since the age of 15, previously publishing them on the streaming service Souncloud. She learned to play the guitar on her own, but since the age of 18 she has regularly published her music and videos on the video site “YouTube” under the stage name Dahlia Aster.
“[Dziesmas] the story is about comfort zones and how difficult it is sometimes to break out of them. The melody was created several years ago, but this year I went back to it and finally wrote the lyrics too,” Ance said quickly on his debut.
