The Il-112 aircraft, the first official flight of which is scheduled for March 2022, crashed while landing.
In Russia, a new Il-112 military transport plane crashed while landing at Kubinka airport. The corresponding videos appeared on social networks.
“A prototype of a military aircraft crashed 1.5 km from the runway next to the large Nikolsky pond. Il-112 is the newest light transport aircraft, officially the first flight is scheduled for March 2022. It may have been tested before the Army-2021 forum,” writes Mash.
There were three people on board. The fate of the crew is currently unknown.
As reported TASS, law enforcement officers consider technical malfunction and piloting error among the causes of the disaster.-
