A new MacBook financing program for businesses in the United States

Apple has launched a new leasing program for companies wishing to equip themselves with portable Macs. The initiative was launched with CIT, a bank specifically dedicated to the business market. The offer is as follows: the customer pays 3% of the amount of the computer each month; after 90 days, it is possible to return the machine or to change it if the chosen model does not stick (or if Apple launches a new version).

This comes down to $ 30 per month for a MacBook Air, $ 39 for a 13-inch MacBook Pro, $ 60 for a 14-inch or even $ 75 for a 16-inch (prices are exclusive of tax). We lack details on this Mac Notebook Upgrade Program which is anyway reserved in the United States. However, the offer could be of interest beyond American borders, in particular to equip SMEs (large accounts tend to call on specialized suppliers). There are also other financing solutions for businesses, through Apple Financial Services.

For the general public, Apple offers the iPhone Update Program which allows you to get a brand new smartphone for a few tens of dollars or pounds per month. The principle is essentially the same but applied to the smartphone. Mac users would also undoubtedly be interested in the same Mac Notebook Upgrade Program applied to individuals.

The manufacturer recently unveiled an Apple Business Essentials program for fleet management and iCloud backup for small and medium-sized businesses. The update program for Macs with CIT is a sort of supplement to this device on the hardware side.
