a new low-irradiation medical imaging device

The GHRMSA, in Mulhouse, has just acquired a new sophisticated imaging device, the EOS Edge, to produce digital radios. It allows telemetric measurements of the bones and the angles of the skeleton, but above all emits a very low irradiation for the patient, that is to say 85% of dose less during the radiological act. Its software makes it possible to adapt the dose of rays according to the thickness of the tissues to be crossed to establish the digital image. Explanations from Dr Philippe Feuerstein, head of the radiology department at the Emile-Muller hospital in Mulhouse.
