Friends of History have taken stock. On Saturday, the Friends of the History of Beaune held their general meeting in the mail room. President Jean Richard congratulated the large public who thus showed his attachment to the association which had 135 members in 2021.
Finances are sound. In 2021, activities have been reduced for the reasons we know. This year, conferences are already planned, including one at the Château de Chamerolles in October under the aegis of the Society of Friends of the Orleans Forest (SAFO), as well as guided tours of the city.
This meeting was an opportunity to distribute bulletin number 49 devoted to a study of Beaune in the 18th century to members. With issue 50, which will be released next July, the Friends of History will mark 25 years of existence already!
The contribution is maintained at 15 euros.
