In the new lawsuit, Baldwin said negligence caused the tragedy and sought damages for his “extreme pain.”
He added, “This tragedy occurred because live bullets arrived at the scene of the shooting and were placed inside the gun.”
This is one of many lawsuits related to the tragedy that occurred on October 21, 2021, which is under criminal investigation and could lead to charges in the state of New Mexico.
Baldwin’s subsidiary lawsuit accuses on-set weapons supervisor Hannah Gutierrez Reid, first assistant director Dave Holz, equipment supplier Seth Kinney and equipment officer Sarah Zachary.

“Baldwin is responsible for this tragedy,” Gutierrez Reed’s attorney Jason Bowles said in an email Saturday.
The four are also co-defendants along with Baldwin in the original lawsuit filed by the screenwriter, who claims the shooting caused her severe emotional distress.
