Promote sobriety and lightness, benefit from natural light, improve the visual, climatic and acoustic quality of the spaces and optimize the energy performance of the equipment… If the community of communes Pays de Forcalquier-Montagne de Lure has not yet chosen the master of the work for the construction of his future medical center in Forcalquier, already knows what he wants: functional, virtuosic and beautiful equipment. But apart from what the new building will look like, he wants it most of all offer an innovative medical solution on its territory. The idea would be to open a medical facility open 7 days a week, until 10pm.
In principle, the community would like an emergency doctor and nurse to be on site almost constantly meet the needs of its constituents. Concretely, with this new tool, it hopes to welcome four new doctors and four other nurses. A real necessity in this sector placed in the priority intervention zone (ZIP) sinceRegional Health Agency (ARS).

The new medical equipment would be located on a 1,700m plot2, within the perimeter of the protection of historic monuments, a few meters from the cultural space La Bonne fontaine. The budget earmarked for the work has been estimated at 1.6 million euros including taxes, for a one-story building or an R+1 building. Two options will therefore be studied, namely the creation of a building with a right of way of 300 m2 on land with R+1 and parking or the construction of a building from 400 to 600 m2 on the ground and parking space. In both cases, the future health facility will have to host a 50m stretcher-monitoring room2two offices for doctors of about fifteen square meters2 each, a rest room of about fifteen square meters2a technical room/laboratory of 35 m22an ultrasound room and a radiology room of 15 m22 each, a room of 10 m2 dedicated to casts and sutures and a waiting room of 26 m22.
For now and until December 29, the community is looking for the project manager. The latter should be selected in January 2023. The authorization application should be presented in March 2023 for the start of the works in July 2023 and acceptance expected in May 2024.
