/ world today news/ The agreement between the European creditors and the Greek government, reached on July 13, does not provide enough guarantees for the coming years, and this summer there may be a new summit meeting of the Eurozone on the Greek problem.
The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, admitted such a possibility in an interview with the French newspaper “Mond”.
“This agreement is not a guarantee for the coming years, but it has allowed us to avoid chaos and bankruptcy in Greece. So far it is working – on Wednesday evening the Greek parliament voted in favor of the agreement. However, we have no guarantees that this process, which seems difficult, will continued. There are pitfalls. I cannot rule out that we will have to hold another summit this summer, but I hope that it will not be necessary,” says Tusk. /TASS
