The president of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, Antonio Ruiz, signed today, accompanied by the delegate of Culture of the provincial institution, Salud Navajas, a collaboration agreement with the president of the Governing Council of the Córdoba Orchestra, Mar Sánchez, through of which the program ‘Nights of Music and Cinema’ and the Cycle of didactic concerts for schoolchildren and music schools will be launched.
Ruiz explained that “the provincial institution will contribute a total of 150,000 euros to these initiatives, an amount that demonstrates the close collaboration that we have been maintaining with the Córdoba Orchestra Consortium and that allows us to maintain proposals over time that, year after year, They are very well received by the public”.
“Our objective with this cooperation is none other than to economically boost groups and workers linked to the cultural sector, as well as to expand the catalog of cultural proposals in our province”, Ruiz clarified.
The head of the Provincial Council added that “there are many projects that, like this one, are launched by our Culture Delegation, with the aim of bringing quality activities to any point in the geography of our province.”
Ruiz has stressed “the importance of offering initiatives and proposals to our neighbors regardless of their place of residence, in another push to establish the population in our territory.”
For her part, the head of Culture in the provincial institution has highlighted “the work that has been carried out to promote in our towns a permanent and enriching program of theater, circus, dance, flamenco and music.”
