This arrival is conditional on the finalization of a certain number of administrative formalities ”, indicates the mayor.
Several months of work
But after several months of work with the Departmental Council of Orne, Collines du Perche Normand Community – Perche in Normandy and the Laborare Conseil, Doctor Patricia Montes Romero, originally from Spain, should arrive in a few weeks. in Val-au-Perche.
A Spanish vein?
She will join the Health Center of Theil-sur-Huisne, which emerged from the ground in March 2021, alongside other professionals. “In fact, the firm which was appointed by the departmental council works a lot with the Spaniards,” replies Sébastien Thirouard. But they do not discover the Perche, they come to visit many times and arrive here with a real life project. “
A “recruitment” which did not materialize in a few hours, but rather in a few months.
Last April, Dr Montes Romero had already visited the facilities of the Pôle de Santé in Theil-sur-Huisne and Ceton, two towns where patients sometimes have to travel several kilometers before finding a doctor, when that of the town does not. has no niche.
More details should be provided in the coming weeks. “We are actively preparing for his arrival,” says Sébastien Thirouard, who is also working on the arrival of a doctor in Saint-Germain-de-la-Coudre and a third doctor in Bellême. This latest recruitment could materialize in the summer of 2022.
Two new practitioners
In addition, two new practitioners joined the health centers of Theil and Ceton in September. Estelle Sauton, psycho-practitioner at the health center of the Val-au-Perche site and Carole Bourgine Geai, psychologist at the Ceton site, offer specialized support in the areas of family and couple therapy, the analysis of professional practices or further support for children and adolescents.
“The arrival of these new professionals is very consistent with the pole project that we are carrying out in our region,” concludes Sébastien Thirouard. Our desire is to offer welcoming premises identified by the population, to enable them to work across professionals. “
The two newcomers will rent the multidisciplinary practice, shared between several health professionals, on a half-day or full-day basis.
