A photo editor has explained the ‘mystery’ behind former President Donald Trump‘s different use of bronzer.
The businessman’s tan has always been the subject of great attention during his political career, with countless memes “destroying” the issue, writes “Independent”, citing BTV.
American photo editor Emily Elsey shared her theory about the constantly changing color palettes of his complexion. According to her, the intensity of the hue is directly related to the stress levels of a politician.
Although the pictures of Donald Trump’s tan drew ridicule, similar to the mockery of JD Vance’s alleged use of eyeliner, she said the subject was no laughing matter.
“Why is no one covering this very important information,” Elsie wrote in a series of Instagram posts.
“We need to talk about the bronzer. I used to think that Trump’s skin tone problem was primarily a matter of photo retouching – aka the photographer’s choice of color balance. However, I have noticed that Trump’s skin tone tends to shift depending on the lighting and color palette of the photographer,” explains Emily Elsey.
“In ‘cool’ light, Trump’s bronzer is less intense. With a slightly warmer tone, Trump’s ‘skin color’ goes crazy and orange,” she further explains.
Elsie explains that for years she believed that Donald Trump’s changing complexion was a choice made primarily for television audiences.
