A new brand of personal computers will start to appear on the Czech market. E-shop Smarty.cz already offers custom kits You targeting gamers, everyday use and office work. Ready-made assemblies are available for the time being, the configurator will be functional in the near future.
The sets are assembled from traditional components, in Prague in Zličín. The company says it is currently able to build, install and test up to 40 computers a day. Capacities can be increased according to demand. Smarty is reportedly able to provide components, including capacity, for the upcoming Christmas season.
For Smarty.cz, this is another step in an ambitious expansion. In addition to the e-shop of the same name, the company operates iWant, stores with Apple products. She also bought the JRC this year, the largest local retailer of video games.
The plans speak of opening 40 new stores operating, among other things, as showrooms. Games and Tigo computers will also get space. For example, the staff will help with the selection or assembly of a PC.
Tigo computers start at 10,990 and end at 72,990 crowns. The most expensive model is the game Tigo Legend. It features Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, 32 GB RAM at 3600 MHz or an Intel Core i7-10700KF processor.
In addition, Smarty.cz is also starting to offer separate PC components, where Alza, CZC and others will compete. Alza and CZC also offer their own kits.
Smarty.cz generated a turnover of 1.9 billion crowns in the first three quarters of this year. It was 2.3 billion for the whole of last year. This year, the company wants to reach three billion, by 2023 more than five billion.
