Jeddah: The 29th Lulu Hypermarket in Saudi Arabia has opened its doors on the busy Medina Road in the Ruwais district of Jeddah. The vice president of the Jeddah Chamber, Khalaf bin Hussain Al-Utaibi, inaugurated the event. In the wake of heavy rain damage in Jeddah last Thursday, the opening ceremony of the new hypermarket was disrupted and the ceremony was simple. In lieu of the inauguration cost, the amount was donated to the Nafa Charity Society to help more than 1,500 families in need. The executive director of Lulu Group MA, who attended the opening ceremony, said that Lulu Group is always with the community, they prioritize humanitarian considerations and they made that decision realizing that it is their responsibility to help families affected by the floods. The new hypermarket is set up with a total area of ​​1,90,000 square feet, including a 90,000 square foot single-story store. There are 16 cash desks and parking spaces for approximately 275 cars. All the facilities available in the other Lulu Group hypermarkets are also available in the new hypermarket. A rich array of the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats and seafood from around the world is prepared. The new hypermarket offers breads, cakes, meat plant foods, specialty organic products, superfoods and more, baked in the mall’s in-house bakery.

MA said the store will include popular Lulu shopping stations such as Lulu Fashion, Lulu Connect electronics division, and BLSH beauty and cosmetics division. Ashraf Ali said.
