Slovak hockey player Christián Jaroš changes his jersey within the NHL. The 25-year-old defender is leaving San Jose for New Jersey in exchange for striker Nick Merkley, the tsn.ca portal said.

Jaroš played seven matches for the “sharks” last season, scoring one point for assistance. He played eleven matches in the AHL jersey of the San Jose Barracuda team, gathering three assists.

A year younger Merkley last year played 27 games for Devils with a balance of 2 goals and 8 assists.
