A new album is released by Latvia's new hip-hop star March

Simultaneously with the release of the album, March has also released a video for the song “IOYA”, which is the second single from the new album.

March is one of the few Latvian rappers who performs songs in English, he has also earned the recognition of world-famous hip-hop performers. In 2021, American rapper Redman included one of March’s songs – “The Man” – in his music “Come Get It Playlist”, while Akil The MC from the American rap supergroup “Jurassic 5” appreciated the new rapper’s talent in the new album “Quarantine”. Rhyme Scheme ”.

At the age of 19, March has already released two studio albums and warmed up internationally acclaimed artists: GZA from Wu-Tang Clan (USA), AK-47 (Russia), Masta Ace (USA), Blabbermouf (NL) and Afu- Ra (USA).

The album “The Super Extra More Experience”, which includes nine songs and three Scythians, touches on topics close to everyone, such as love, money, fear, anger, dignity. “Particularly thoughtful frivolity would be the best descriptive words for this album. I’m not for you with humor, so you can find it in almost every song on the album. At the same time, the album is undoubtedly instructive. True, not with the wisdom of life, because books serve that purpose, ”says March about his new album, noting that the songs of the album include rap manners that have not been heard in Latvian hip-hop music so far.

March’s song “IOYA”, for which a video was released with the release of the album, is an ironic reflection of the artist on what is happening in the hip-hop music genre today, when trends in the content consumed by Internet users often negatively affect the content and quality of performers.
