Bank of America has just launched a new corporate card for business travelers, available in North America, Europe and Asia. Its name, Executive Explorer, sums up its main target: senior executives and frequent travelers. Its main feature is to offer practical advantages to travelers in the form of credits to be spent with different actors to facilitate their travels.

For example, each year, holders of the Executive Explorer card have an envelope of 600 dollars, or 540 euros, for access 1,500 airport lounges in the world. This credit can be used for daily access or for annual subscriptions. In this context, the LoungeKey program, giving access to 1,100 lounges around the world, is a partner of the solution, as are the major American companies such as Alsaka Airlines, American Airlines, Delta and United Airlines.

Another advantage is that card users can benefit from expedited routes through airports with a credit of $ 100 or 90 euros to be used over a period of four years with players specializing in “Fast Track” programs such as Global Entry, Nexus, Registered Traveler and / or TSA Pre.

The Executive Explorer card adds to these advantages a improved insurance coverage, whether with regard to lost baggage and baggage delays, but also protection against the risks associated with carpooling and against mobile phone worries. Cardholders also benefit from priority assistance from the bank’s services.

Because this launch also has a technological dimension. At the same time, the use of these cards is facilitated by the new application Global Card Access (GCA). This app allows cardholders to activate their card, view their balance and have access to a dashboard with key account information. This management tool is further protected by a biometric connection, in addition to a card lock option for added security when not in use.
