This is the first time in its history that the Senegalese national team has won the title of this tournament after losing the final match 3 times.
This coronation confirmed the dominance of Senegalese football on the national team championships in Africa.
As the first Senegal national team was crowned the 2022 African Nations Championship, and the Senegal national team was crowned the 2023 African Nations Championship for local players.
It is noteworthy that the teams of Tunisia, Nigeria, Senegal and Gambia, which qualified for the semi-finals of the African Youth Championship under the age of 20, will represent the African continent in the World Youth Championship 2023.
Indonesia will host the Youth World Cup between May and June.
