After two years of investigation, the investigations are completed on a sordid pedophile network in the region ofAngers (Maine-et-Loire). A man of 27 years old will be tried for aggravated rape, aggravated sexual assault and detention and dissemination of child pornography between 2010 and 2018 announced the prosecutor, Thursday, January 14, 2021.
Separate procedure
But the man is not the only one involved in the case. Indeed, a police officer in the Paris region is also at the heart of the case, for having shared illegal content with the main accused, announced the prosecutor of Angers. According to West France, the man is assigned to the Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
What is its degree of involvement? What are the charges against him? Contacted, the Angers prosecutor’s office indicated that it was not in charge of the case. A separate investigation is launched against the official, who will be tried for his part before the Yvelines criminal court.
The fact remains that the main accused will be tried at the assizes for rape and sexual assault committed on ten children. These are little girls and boys, some of whom are under 5 years old.
