Regional police spokeswoman Lilia Vakaryuk noted that there are no signs of violent death on the man’s body. The body of the mushroom picker was sent for a forensic medical examination, which will establish the cause of his death.
The daughter of the missing person contacted the police on August 26. She said that her father did not return from the forest. He forgot his phone in the car of an acquaintance with whom he went to pick mushrooms. The men were looking for rescuers, border guards, police, foresters – almost 290 people. They covered over a thousand hectares.
