A museum dedicated to Broadway soon in New York

With more than two years behind schedule as to the planned schedule, the Museum of Broadway should finally open its doors in summer 2022. The Covid 19 pandemic will indeed have got the better of the project, which has been delayed many times when it was initially supposed to host from the public from the start of 2020. The museum is founded by two women, Julie Boardman, producer often nominated for the Tony Awards and Diane Nicoletti to whom we owe the agency Rubik Marketing. The goal of this new cultural establishment in the heart of New York? To shed light on the history of Broadway shows, the artistic epicenter of the American city. It will be made up of three sections. The first, mainly historical, will present how New York theaters came to settle in the Times Square district (with 41 theaters in operation today).

The second will develop the boom in Anglo-Saxon musical shows, from the first Broadway scenes in the middle of the 18th.e century of follies, through the first musicals that have now become shows with pharaonic budgets. Finally, the third part will show behind the scenes, highlighting all the craftsmen of these shows that make the whole world dream. A museum that will use augmented reality, special effects and which will be a spectacle in itself. It would have been difficult to do otherwise with such a theme. Enough to make you want to take the first plane to New York, even if you have to arm yourself with a little more patience.
