Not so long ago, the police boasted about turning a seized car into their own special. At that time, it was a Ferrari 458 Italia, which was seized as part of criminal activity. They repainted the luxury wrecker in their own colors, put beacons on it and put it into service.
And the police seized another such expensive wrecker. This time, according to the Ministry of the Interior, it is a Lamborghini Huracan EVO, 5.2 liter volume, ten-cylinder and something around 600 horsepower. And of course the front wheel. “The police of the Czech Republic secured it in criminal proceedings and it is now on offer at the Center for Secured Assets of the Ministry of Interior. And just tomorrow (on Friday, editor’s note) a ten-day auction begins, after which it will have a new owner,” described ministry. But he will not go to the police service.
The car was registered three years ago and has driven only 15,730 thousand kilometers since then. Its maximum speed is 325 kilometers per hour, except for a few scratches, a scuffed seat and a scratched light, it is otherwise like new. And all in a nice yellow color. It probably comes from economic crime.
And the price? 4,984,000 crowns. “The money we get from selling it like this will then go to compensation for victims of crime,” they added. Blesk also contacted the Minister of the Interior, Vít Rakušan (STAN), but he replied that he was bound by confidentiality under the criminal code and that they could not comment on the impounded car.
