A motorist rushes at firefighters in intervention and receives 8 months in prison

A 20-year-old man was sentenced on Wednesday to an 8-month prison sentence which he will serve under an electronic bracelet. He was found guilty of violence against two firefighters, on whom he deliberately charged while they were in intervention in Villefranche-sur-Saône (Rhône).

The prosecutor nevertheless requested an eight-month prison sentence against him, as well as the confiscation of his vehicle, the cancellation of the driver’s license and the ban on ironing it for 14 months. Zine-Eddine H. had already been suspended from a license for a period of 3 months, on April 23, for having crossed a red light and causing injuries to a third party.

800 euros to be paid to the victims

Found guilty of violence against two firefighters, the 20-year-old defendant was sentenced to 8 months in prison with an obligation to work.
