The motorist Jorge Enrique Sánchez Juárez, lost his life hit by a vehicle on the route that retalhuleu leads to the municipality of Champerico.
According to relatives of the victim, Sánchez Juárez was returning from running some errands in the departmental capital. However, after several hours that he did not return, they went looking for him and found the scene where the Firefighters were already present.

“What happened hurts me a lot, Jorge, he was a good friend and the way he died is not fair, because of an irresponsible driver,” said César Morales, a resident of Champerico.
Agents of the National Civil Police were present at the scene, who made a tour in search of the responsible driver, but the results were negative.
The motorcycle of the now deceased was left lying on the asphalt tape, while crime scene experts ordered the transfer of the body to the INACIF morgue.
According to the relief bodies, statistics indicate that many of the traffic accidents occur mostly due to a lack of driver education. Among these faults we can mention speeding and disrespect for traffic signals.
